Mark is an award winning actor, photographer and director. He’s a Sonoma County wine country native turned industry pro. Since Be A Working Actor Studios opened its doors in 2002, Mark has helped countless actors to find their unique strengths, develop their niche and become some of the top actors in Hollywood.

An Actor and Master Teacher

As a working actor Mark’s film work includes blockbuster hits like David Fincher’s Gone Girl and Ang Lee’s The Hulk to notable indies like Miranda July’s The Future. His numerous television roles include hit shows like Lincoln Lawyer, Yellowstone, Dahmer, Curb Your Enthusiasm, This Is Us, For the People (which put him in contention for an Emmy), Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., 9-1-1, S.W.A.T., Black-ish, Grace and Frankie, Code Black, Scandal, NCIS, Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds, The Newsroom, Dexter, House, M.D., Justified, 24 and many, many more.

Mark is known as LA’s Type Specialist. He teaches regularly on the topics of “Branding, Image and Essence” as well as “Acting in LA.” Mark has written several books including “The Working Actor’s Guide to LA” and “The Stunt Guide.”

A Photographer and Director

As a director, Mark is known for his indie films. Most notably, he wrote and directed a pilot for Showtime called, “True Fiction.” As a photographer Mark is widely recognized for his headshots and advertising work. His clients include NBC, CBS, A&E, Bravo, CAA, ICM, WME, Venice Magazine, Big Lots and many more. Early in his career Mark was chosen as “Best Headshot Photographer” by BackStage Magazine. In 2010 he was honored by the Photography for Social Change Foundation as one of the “World’s Top 100 Documentary-Style Photographers.“
