One of the most important aspects of being a working actor is that you must put your craft to task on a regular basis. There has never been a better time for self-productions nor a better time to put yourself on film and become a true master of on-screen acting. Here at Be A Working Actor Studios we see the importance of putting the skills you learn in our classrooms into practice. Which is why we embrace self-productions as part of our curriculum.

OUR SELF-PRODUCTIONS FOCUS ON:

Segment 1 - Assign a Writer

The first portion of this program is to get to know the actors and to explore their strengths and most cast-able qualities. Then, we assign a writer who can best craft a  scene exploiting those great qualities.

Segment 2 - Workshop the Script

 Next, we put all the techniques that we teach our classes to work as we coach the actors in their scenes. The point is to bring each actor alive to their fullest potential.

Segment 3 - Film the Script

 Finally, we put together a team of top-notch filmmakers who will shoot each of the actor's scenes. Those films are then completed and promoted in the festival world and/or online world.
